Our final 2025 Oscar predictions as we fill out an entire ballot for the 97th Academy Awards! We downloaded our Oscar's ballot from Letterboxd and filled it out this episode, discussing the big 5, of course, but every Oscar category. This is THE podcast for the 2025 Oscar predictions and will help you get informed and be the life of your Oscar's party!

We get to our Best Picture prediction from the following films, Anora, The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune: Part Two, Emilia Pérez, I'm Still Here, Nickel Boys, The Substance, and Wicked. We also discuss what worked and didn't work for each of the films, building a case for each Oscar category on who we think finds their way into cinephile immortality and hoist the small golden man statue.

We also cover the Oscar's biggest snubs in history, hint hint The Goodfellas, plus why the Oscars matter and what it means for a film to be nominated and potentially win.

We also discuss Oscar controversary and news that has come out during this award season the old school mudslinging that has been happening.
