The Boogeyman returns, sort of, in the latest entry into the John Wick universe: From the World of John Wick: Ballerina. We review this film, talk about the John Wick franchise, and explore if Ballerina gives enough juice to continue to make John Wick movies with minimal John Wick.

We then review and discuss the latest original Shudder horror picture, The Ugly Stepsister (2025). A gruesome take on a familiar tale, does it live up to the hype!? Find out!

Next up, one of the greatest movies ever put to screen, Billy Wilder's The Apartment (1960). We do a deep dive into this amazing and always prescient film, and discuss what makes this movie so incredible and how it can still feel so contemporary. Jack Lemmon, Shirley MacLaine, Fred MacMurray and crew create a truly lived-in depiction of life in 1959 in the city, the tension of climbing the corporate ladder but selling your soul, and lonely hearts on Christmas.
